$673 on my credit card because my cat was at the vet. The good news is, she seems fine. The bad news is that they ran a bunch of tests, X-rays, etc and she was behind on some vaccinations, hence the bill. Also, she despises the vet and turns into a holy yowling, hissing, spitting terror anytime we go which is why she got behind on the shots. She was a throwaway kitten and gets threatened very easily—and she was at a strange place with strangers poking and prodding at her for several hours, poor thing. She’s still leery of me of me since we came back. She’ll let me pet her and talk to her, but she doesn’t follow me around or curl up at my feet like she used to. I also have to take her back in 3 weeks for a booster shot, so even if she does forgive me, that’ll shatter her trust all over again.
I miss my little dork. :0( I’m glad she’s ok though.
potential Palm software:
Splash Money, $30 (plus $30 for Microsoft Money for desktop)
PocketMirror for Microsoft Outlook, $30
Bug Me! notepad, $20.
That’s over $100, which is more than the damn Palm is worth if I sold it. I don’t want the contractual obligations that a smartphone would bring and unfortunately pay-as-you-go smartphones aren’t available in the U.S.(if anyone knows otherwise give me a holler).
F**ck!
installed on my laptop and Splash Money for my Palm so I can sync them. Helpful. I haven’t done it for a couple of days though. Oh, and I found this online program called MedBill Manager which is cool.
suck at this. i just got my credit limited lowered by 20% on one of my cards recently. F**ck. Why can’t I be one of those super anal organized people who never loses anything and never pays a bill late and always has everything in its proper place? Instead I’m forgetful and disorganized and escaping from reality via books and movies and “spacing out” most of the time. Then I wonder why my life is so…not what I want. Well, DUH.
for groceries plus. I spent about fifteen or so on new makeup, after discovering yesterday during this NPR interview that the fda does not monitor cosmetics ingredients. at. all. so i got some rimmel. its dist. in U.S. but made in London which means it passes the way stricter EU laws. so hopefully i won’t be putting lead and god knows what else on my lips, eyes, or skin…yay.
haven’t been paying enough attn to credit card bills. they were still trying to take money from my old acct and of course were denied so i have some late fees. shiiiiiit!
