Jessy is having computer problems.
I went through the house this weekend eating every piece of chocolate I could find. :( Worse yet, I ate Three Musketeers on Monday and Tuesday and a Payday today. Two out of three were because I had not had lunch. One day I forgot to pack a lunch, one day I forgot to eat.
Sigh. Back on the wagon tomorrow.

I have eaten dessert on three occasions: twice when friends were over and once at the conference—some sort of raspberry chocolate yumminess that I would eat yet again if it were here in front of me. This is the way I should eat sweets if I eat them at all: occasionally.
Now, to clean up the rest of my dietary act.

without sweets! I did eat one small rugeleh today, but I stopped at that. Still, no cravings. I think that if I keep my sugar below a certain level . . . not sure what that is, since I am not diabetic and don’t measure blood sugar . . . that I will be craving-free.
I have lost about 5 pounds since I quit eating sweets, and with no hunger at all. I hope I can maintain this. It feels great!

I was not sure I could do this, so I did not want to jinx it with so much as a single entry.
I went without sweets for seven entire days. No cookies, candy, sugared cereal—not so much as a peppermint.
For the first few days, my entire body ached. My muscles were sore enough for me to take Goody’s Headache Powder in the morning to dull the ache. Coincidence, maybe, or maybe just sugar withdrawal.
I had not a single craving the entire week. Yesterday, I broke my sugar fast with a single spoonful of ice cream.
Now, I’d really like to stay sugar free, or mainly sugar free. I am sweet enough without sugar. ;)
