stand up more for my financial rights

Well, it was not walking through the rose garden, and I dont know how, but the publishing house finally sent me the money for translation without me sueing them. Great relief for me.
They still owe me some money, but the books are still not published and now I see there is a hope of getting to the money (months and years it can take and after that time money being wothless, but nevertheless I am OK now).

I give up hope to get back the money from the crooked publishing house Cesty (Ottovo nakladatelství) (beware of them!)
But I will learn from it for the future. I am not going to work for anyone unless I have clear contract and money in advance.
Decided to look around and to widen my earning nets.

I brought my three unpaid contracts home for discussion. they are owing me quite a lot of money. I am soooo reluctant to start this oddyssey again :-/

new job – they need me and I didn´t even ask for more money… I accepted what they had offered me. Only a part of it is settled yet, the rest of it will depends on my negotiation skills, so I see it as a high school of my financial consciousness.

well, I asked the economist and the money is OK – they will come with my next wage. So what the hell are these money about?
My paranoia has started to override me…

I found out that HWMNBNIP screwed me up again! He even lied to my face!! to get his refund for the business trip he lied to the economist and thus stripped me of some of my money. It is not much and I would not care if he only asked me.
I so much despise him!

Well, on Tuesday when back to office I am going to ask the economist why I did not get the full refund, see what she says and then go ask HWMNBNIP why is he so …. (when avoiding the swear words I cannot think of any suitable expression)?!!

Yesterday I asked more for translation because I involved in the amount also the taxes (for the first time, actually). It was just slightly more than I usually ask, but one has to start with small steps first, doesnt she?

i managed to ask for more money for a part-time job i´ve started recently. i wrote an email to the company that i wirk for. i explained why is he job worth more… i was so scared to send it… and now i´m just curious, whether they will acept it or not.

It is good to have various sources of income, but I wish I would not let people to f**k up with me so easily when it comes to money. I hate to ask for money, I find it embarassing to negotiate for more. and the worst thing is when problems with paying arise. I usually let it be and tell to myself it is not worth it. However, I am beginning to question this attitude, because when small amounts are added together, it doesnot seem “not worth it” anymore!
