Borrowed a Nintendo DS and bought two games, Big Brain Academy and Brain Age 2. Trying to learn to solve Sudoku puzzles and they are driving me crazy. Really takes a lot of concentration and focus and I have no idea how people do these sorts of puzzles. I really want to be able to solve a Sudoku puzzle and join the ranks of people caught up in this puzzle craze.

Sudoku is absolutely addictive! Ever since learning, I always carry a book with me wherever I go – I have so many many many! I also have a pc version I play all the time and I really want a table-top one as well. Even one of my sons love to play since I taught him how :)

... for several months.
In the past week or so, I’ve set out non-dramatically to learn how to play sudoku.
Yes, it’s very fun. The puzzles grow more difficult, but it seems like I’ve got a great strategy to finishing each puzzle.
It’s easy to see why others have become addicted to the game.

Did it, learned it, got hooked. Spent most of Boxing day doing this instead of talking to family!! (They were all hooked too – how sad, it’s tragic)

Muriel is realizing her life circumstances.
Su-Doku is not a mathematical game. It’s all about logic. And since I don’t like math, but enjoy puzzles, I fell for it. My first book was bought by my mother-in-law when I was in the hospital so I wouldn’t be too bored. Nowadays, I have some form of Su-Doku with me.
Su-Doku is almost not worth trying because of how addictive it is. You go from small books, to Extreme Su-Doku, to Su-Doku software, to handheld electronic versions…
And yes. I have all of those.
Sigh.
