My kids had a wierd hair day at school yesterday. They borrowed wigs from Aunt Wendy and they were so excited. They looked so adorable and apparently got tons of attention at school. They were delighted to tell me all about it when we got home.

I love the way my son asks a million questions. It is as if he is trying to compute everything and stash it away inside his little head. Sometimes it drives me crazy, but other times it helps me see the world through his innocent eyes.

Because life is mostly the little things. Big things only happen once in a very long while. And the big things are often just a bunch of little things grouped together. Life is too short to only savor the big moments. It’s the little things like a child’s smirk or a preteen’s smirk and raised eyebrow that will stay with you for a lifetime.

I try to appreciate it all 2 years ago

From waking up each day to a comfortable place to sleep at night, I say thanks for the things that enable me to have a good life.

Those little things that make life worth living.. 3 years ago

It’s those little things that truly make life wonderful. If I can really appreciate all of those things, then I can appreciate my life. Little things like…that first breathe I take when I walk out the front door, that first refreshing sip of water when I’m really thirsty, thinking I’m late for something but being right on time, seeing random people while I walk to class, getting facebook messages for no reason (just to say hello!). Those are the things that make life worth living.

express this one. I mean how do you measure it? I think I’m gonna list things lately that I noticed that were small and I appreciated.
1) Doing the washing up with loads of soap bubbles, all on my own. Was really relaxing, lovely hot water and sweet smelling detergent. Easy thing to do and satisfying . (lol probably cos I only have to do it once in a while)
2) pavement with a cement splodge in the shape of a heart
3) My pretty candle holder, a friend got me (who I’m visiting soon) its in the shape of a special flower, made in glass. Very beautiful, If I ever get round to meditating I wanna use it to help somehow.
4) A nice hot, clean smelling wash cloth-lol I have weird taste I guess.
5) Really nice smoothie my mum made today with her new blender.
6) nice long hot bath, I haven’t had one for ages seriously like months ( don’t worry I’m not totally disgusting I’m just a real shower girl ;) )
7) Which reminds me power showers, they are the best!! I have the longest showers- not very good really, they’re meant to conserve water but I stay in there way too long.
(8) et finalement These really cool roofes I saw in Italy called trulli , very beautiful.
