Visit Buckingham Palace

I would like to visit Buckingham Palace in May

glad i saw it, but i suggest saveing some time to wander St James Park aswell :)

Since the queen was out they were giving tours of the palace… I got to go inside! No one was allowed to bring a camera in, I wish I could have some photographs of the priceless paintings and furniture.

The palace was a little dissapointing… though it was very grand it was not amazing… nothing like a fary tale… no beautiful Cinderalla ballroom or anything of that sort.

It was still very much worth doing though.

That’s what freaked me out when I first arrived at a cocktail party that I was invited to through convoluted circumstances. Eventually, a steady stream of hors d’oeuvres and wine made it’s way through the crowd but the bowls placed on tables in the corners remained there, seemingly as a joke. The highlight for me was having the Duke of Edinburgh get back at me for having embarrassed him earlier in the day. Quite sharp-witted, he. Nothing about royalty had impressed me prior to all this, but being amid all that history and elegance has swayed me.

I guess I’m the only one! Hee hee! I want to go see Buckingham Palace and try to mess with the heads of one of those guys who stand there with such straight faces! They’re called beefeaters or something, right? Hee hee!
