learn to SCUBA dive

Check out your university… I’d taken the classes as a kid, but still took the fabulous ones at my school through the rec center (gym, whatever). They were FAST and shockingly inexpensive! And open to non-students, I found out! How cool is that? So for like $400 I got certified AND had a 3-day check-out dive in San Carlos. I even talked the instructor into a night dive. With poisonous snakes. I’m not kidding. It was FANTASTIC!

Ilooked online for some local scuba diving classes. I found one that might work. They do some classroom instruction, lessons in a pool, and then diving in Monterey. Now I just have to see when I can take the lessons.

I am reading the books and viewing video for open water course. The course will be this Sat & Sun, so I am closer to my goal.

I finally found someone who wants to learn and take a class at Sport Chalet this summer!

I’ve paid my deposit and booked for the end of JUNE!!!! I’m so excited … going on a 4 day course to Sodwana Bay!!!

Was certified through NAUI during a semester course in college. Went on a few quarry dives but haven’t been in the ocean. My next goal is to do a shipwreck dive and after I get more experience gain cave diving certification.

Just registered into courses today for the end of July.. making me feel very excited :)

I have always been interested in learning how to scuba dive. I was going to go on a trip and I randomly walked into a scuba store and signed up for the certification class. It has been the most awesome thing I’ve ever done for myself.

i actually learned how to scuba dive when i was younger. i have dove in florida and spain. what i need to check up on is to see if my certification is still valid & if so just have them reissue my card.

i would love to try this
