I’ve paid my deposit and booked for the end of JUNE!!!! I’m so excited … going on a 4 day course to Sodwana Bay!!!
Was certified through NAUI during a semester course in college. Went on a few quarry dives but haven’t been in the ocean. My next goal is to do a shipwreck dive and after I get more experience gain cave diving certification.

I have always been interested in learning how to scuba dive. I was going to go on a trip and I randomly walked into a scuba store and signed up for the certification class. It has been the most awesome thing I’ve ever done for myself.

i actually learned how to scuba dive when i was younger. i have dove in florida and spain. what i need to check up on is to see if my certification is still valid & if so just have them reissue my card.

My boyfriend announced the other day that he is going to buy me scuba diving lessons for my birthday…so EXCITED!!!!

which might be slightly better as I’ll be able to see what’s going on under the surface. But then we stumble upon the small issue of being far far underwater and the possiblity of all my worst nightmares coming true. As long as the guy on the boat doesn’t do a role call and mistakes someone else for me then sails off into the sunset to let me get nibbled on by sharks, then we’re all good.

My friend, who is a marine scientist and therefore does a lot of diving, tells me that there is NO WAY someone with asthma should SCUBA dive. He’s not going to let me go diving while I’m visiting him in Eilat, so I guess I should find another thing to learn…hm…SURFING, anyone?
