So last night I only got 7, but all in all I got a lot of sleep this week and I’m pretty happy about it. :)

This is the first time I’ve set up a reminder email for a goal. I haven’t gotten 8 hours of sleep yet; so far it’s varied between 3 and 7 hours. The note to myself made me chuckle this morning:
Dear future self,
“get eight hours of sleep each night for a whole week”
How’s it going?
You know if you get more sleep, you’ll reap a number of
benefits:
you’ll feel better
because it will boost your immune system
you’ll be more awake in the day
so you’ll get more done
which will make you feel even better about yourself
which means you will get more exercise, cause you’ll have time
to bounce around your apartment
or ride your bike
or go for walks on the point
and make tasty dinners
because you will get things done more efficiently
you’ll wake up nicer in the mornings
your boss will smile at you more
which means you won’t hate your job so much
all this and more, just for being in bed by 10:30 or 11:00pm.
