i so want to meet the rest of my pops’ family. maybe i should learn some spanish first. but some of the stories i’ve heard makes me kinda scared to go.

How I did it: I went on a second Mission trip with another school, but the school was WAY to conservative. It was a religious school and they made me wear a very long, very heavy jean skirt constantly because girls should wear skirts, especially in the heat. The people were excellent, i helped orphan kids, i played with them, even though they had chicken pox and i never had them, but they were so adorable i couldnt keep away from them (never got them btw). Food would have been good if the school didnt tell them to serve us vegan food (hint: vegan hispanic food is DISGUSTING!) I lost weight there though!!
Lessons & tips: Go with people who arent Ellen G. White conservatives.

I WAS BORN IN EL SALVADOR.I LIVED THERE FOR 7 YEARS AND I ONLY REMEMBER A LITTLE ABOUT IT..BUT ONE DAY I WANNA GO BACK AND VISIT.
