Jewelry to woman is just like cigar to man, it symbolizes identity and taste. I had my eye on a beautiful long dress but my friend said it would be better if it was matched with a silver necklace. I finally bought the dress so you see I need to buy a necklace too. It is terrible that I keeps getting fat and could do nothing to control it; worst of all I have to change my jewelries since most of them are too small for me to wear. It is easy to understand the dearer prices of the jewelry in solid shops. Comparing with online shops, the costs of these solid shops are higher since they have to spend some money on the rent, decorations, and employees. I went to down-town to buy jewelries with my friends. Shifting from one shop to another, we found that the styles they had were similar and limited. Therefore, none of us buy any jewelry there. I am look forward to buying some jewelry but I am very busy and do not have any spare time except holidays. But during holidays, I am always scared away by the crowded people in shops. So you see I still haven’t bought any jewelry. I was invited to a concert, but I don’t have any decent jewelries. I am anxious since I can’t spare time to do shopping. A friend reminds me that I can buy jewelry online which is very convenient. I take her suggestions and the efficiency of online shop doesn’t let me down.

Mother’s Day is coming so I go shopping with my friends, planning to choose a wonderful gift for my Mom. We traipse from one shop to another, but nothing is right to my mind. Then a jewelry shop catches my attention. Yes! Why not buy a necklace for my Mom? A friend of me bought a tiffany necklace, a tiffany rings and a pair of tiffany bracelets yesterday. I think she must be mad since all these are sure to cost her two-month wages. However, she told me she obtain all these jewelry with only one-month wage in. You see it is difficult not to be tempted. A fantastic ring in onsale catches my eyes, but I don’t know its size. So I contact them online and they tell me every detail about the ring. How exciting! The ring is just my size. Once my wife has time, she always browses the website of onsale. And she is proud to tell me that she has learnt many ways to maintain jewelry in onsale.

For my 40th birthday I bought myself the Elsa Peretti “diamonds by the yard” bracelet, and for graduation I bought myself the Frank Gehry gold torque ring. (Yes, the wide one!) I bought the ring to wear on my thumb, but I can’t wear it on my right hand because it would injure anyone with whom I shake hands!
Sitting in my hotel room on 7th Avenue in Manhattan… “I have to go to Tiffany’s just to say I did.” My husband took it one step further. We got out of there at just over $1,000. We went to Vegas 4 months later, I made the mistake of saying “There’s a Tiffany’s in the Bellagio.” 10 minutes before closing and we spend another $600. It’s beautiful, though. I’m addicted! I even buy it for my relatives when i have the extra cash.

When summer finishes, I should theoretically have some fresh-earned money in my pocket. That’s what the sales associate on the main floor told me. So we took an elevator up to the 3rd floor (me, titi, mami) and started to browse around. I already knew what I was looking for. A little silver starfish with a small diamond in the center. The bill? That information remains undisclosed. But I will affirm that I don’t regret paying a penny of it. My first Tiffany diamond, and I bought it myself! She’s gorgeous, I think I’ll name her. Haha… Anyway, it was such an experience, especially for someone who had never been to NYC before. I bought it and he put it in the little teal swede envelope, then put that in the little teal box with the white bow and then put that in the little teal bag that says “Tiffany & Co.”. My Titi said “Now is that a cubic zirconia?” You should’ve seen the expression on the salesman’s face. “Ma’am, Tiffany’s only sells diamonds.” Haha, I love her so much. Anyway, I’m done gabbing, pretty much you should just go to New York and check out Tiffany’s while you’re there.
...and not necessarily that expensive. They do some small silver pendands and earings that are pricey but not ridiculous. They make a great present since they come in a nice Tiffany’s box of course.
