My parents used to dive, that’s actually how they met. I’ve always wanted to try, but it’s a little hard to go diving when you live between the prairies and the mountains. There’s a place here that offers lessons, so that’s a start. I want to get an underwater case for my camera so I can take pictures too! That was one area of photography I got interested in when I started taking pictures.
Geradine is working on finding work :D
I’ve always was fasinated by ocean and wanting to explore the gardens in a different way has prompted me to do so. Once I finish learning how to swim, I want to learn how to scuba dive.
I have always wanted to Scuba Dive, I have just never taken the time to learn. It is time to stop putting it off and just do it.
By the spring I want to be enrolled in scuba diving class and planning trips!
I want to scuba dive when I go travelling and hopefully do my paddy in somewhere like Australia or the Carribean.
I’m 32 years old and I just learned how to swim under water without holding my nose like…two years ago. Pathetic. I learned by watching my son take swim lessons and applying what he was doing to my own pool-time. After a lifetime of people telling me how to do it and I just couldn’t get it, one day of watching a certified instructor and I had it. So now I want to learn to scuba. I was about to take lessons from a client years ago, but I got pregnant with my second son and never got to take the lessons. Scuba is high on my list. It would fit in so great with travelling. It would be great to travel the world and go on all the great dives.
One of the best things I have done for myself in a long time. You should do it. It is great fun adn worth every minute. My first dives without an instructor. I saw amazing fish, eels, turtles and coral. Welcome to 70% of the earth’s surface…
Just Breath!
yakuza who has missed me?
This year, I got my PADI open water certification, my advanced open water certification and my National Geographic certification. I’ve also done a few free dives. It’s truly amazing and I recommend that you try it and do some dives shortly after you’re certified.
