I started running about a year ago, with my husband, at first only to do something together (I ride, he runs and does orienteering). I did it pretty regularly from spring on, until this summer, when I had a problem with photosensibility due to a medicine…
Then in September I ran my first 5k, a Terry Fox Run, but as I had my kid with me I actually ran only half of it.
Between October & November I gave up running. Between October & November, all the viruses going around here came to see me :-( If you then add all the work I had to do, then the coldest weather ever, then motivation disappearing… bingo!
But a couple of days ago I discovered 43Things & decided to give it a try.
I started again today! Yehaa!
I ran for about half an hour, about 3 1/2 k (that is what I usually did before, 3 times a week) and all went well.
Now the challenge is to continue doing it!!
