go up to someone that seems to be in a bad mood and say, "hey grumpy mc-grump-grumps, what's got you down in the grumps? did mr. and mrs. grump send you a grump-o-gram?"

doesn’t help me out when the opportunity presents itself: i keep finding myself in those several-hours-later-i-think-of-what-i-should’ve-said situations.
