I can’t believe I still haven’t eaten lobster! This has been on my list for years! It’s not like it’s something I have to plan for months in advance, sheesh…

mrwoop wants his new house
maybe the hype led me to have too high xpectations but considering the fuss i would rather go for a prawn over lobster any day, more meat, a better price and a better flavour

I have had it once, and I would have it again in a heartbeat. All the work was already done- no shell to crack, no poop shoot, just the meat there, smothered in melted butter. MMMMmmmmmmm good!!!
I recently tried lobster for the first time and was not that impressed. The flavour was quite weak and it was a bit chewy, i’ll be sticking with fresh fish in the future.
A few months after moving to New England I was invited to “Lahbstah Pahty” to eat “Lahbstah.” My new husband and his friends thought it was highly odd that I had never consumed lobster and got to work showing me how to eat it.
After watching the poor lobster getting boiled alive, I was given a nut cracker and told crack the damn thing open. After getting absolutely covered in lobster crap, I think I ended up eating more lobster shell than meat (of which there is hardly any… seriously where’s the food?)
Then I get to it body, and someone screamed “Don’t eat that green stuff its the poop shoot!” I’m eating lobster poo. Oh god I’m eating lobster poo. From that moment I vowed never to eat lobster again.
And people think eating dog is weird.
Its too messy for me, and it doesn’t taste as awesome as everyone makes it out to be.
I ate lobster while i was away on holidays after i bungee jumped. it was a fitting end to the day. it was so delicate and juicy and smooth and just so much better than any other sea food. prawns, calamari, crabs and bugs are great but even the best dont compare to lobster.
Haha when I was little my mom and dad would put them on the table and “race” them before they cooked them
