I’m going to see Conor Oberst soon but I want to see him with Bright Eyes.
How to see Bright Eyes in concert

How I did it: Two years ago Bright Eyes was on a headlining tour and traveled to Toronto, Canada, where they played at Massey Hall. I purchased a tickets for myself and went off. It was a good time.
Lessons & tips: Find the nearest tour day, buy your ticket and go for it. Just recently got into Bright Eyes? RESEARCH. They play a long set.

it was really really nice
the band was awesome
conor anyway although he seemed a bit ill
they just played the songs from the solo record and some covers
nothing by bright eyes.
I understand that
but bright eyes-songs mean more to me
so UNFORTUNATELY i HAVE to go to a bright eyes concert

Worth doing? Yes. Yes. YESSSSS.
Seen them three times. The most recent was in New York City at Radio City Music Hall. It was an 11 hour bus ride, but in the end, totally worth it. =)
Britt feels really ready to make some changes but is worried about money :(

I live in Oklahoma and he wasn’t coming anywhere close so I flew to Denver by myself to see him! It was sooo AWESOME. I love Conor!

I just saw him for the second time recently… freaking wonderful. He played Lua, and I just about cried. sigh… I miss it.

was awesome. I’m not a huge concert fan as I find them to usually be too loud, and all that standing gets old really fast. But he busted out with my current favorite song, ‘Another Travelin’ Song,’ then
‘Lover I Don’t Have to Love,’ ‘Bowl of Oranges,’ ‘Arc of Time,’ ‘Old Soul Song,’ ‘Lua,’ ‘Four Winds,’ ‘A Perfect Sonnet,’ and a few more I hadn’t heard before. The Armory has great acoustics, and it was just warm enough in there. A great night.

unfortunately i got into bright eyes just after their last australian tour so i haven’t been able to see them yet.
i would sell my soul to see them and cry my eyes out if i ever saw them.
no australian tour as been annouced as yet be i am still hopeful.

I get to see them in my hometown. I’m going to hang out upstate, maybe even with one of my pals from here, and ski and eat great western New York food and see an amazing show. I am so, so psyched…

Seeing as Bright Eyes weren’t coming to Australia this tour (they hardly ever do anyway) I made the spontaneous decision to use all my saved up “college” funds (I guess I was looking for an excuse not to go anyway) & fly to Japan to see him at Summer Sonic. It was nowhere near as good as I think it would have been if it was just a Bright Eyes gig (a few other bands playing that festival were Gwen Stefani & Black Eyed Peas so you get the idea…) but it was great nonetheless. He played The Calendar Hung Itself so I was pretty stoked.
