"Fantastic; I definitely gained confidence!"
How I did it:
First off, I just took the time to evaluate my skin type, which was combination dry and acne-prone.
Then, I threw out all my old skin cleansers and moisturizers. I went online to websites for Neutrogena, Sea Breeze, Clean&Clear, and St.Ive's. I picked a few products that sounded good for me, and I read reviews for each product.
Next, I narrowed it down to 1 cleanser, 1 scrub, 1 toner, and 1 moisturizer. I went to the drugstore and purchased my items along with a pimple cream and a new, facial washcloth.
The most important step is to never skip a day in cleansing! One night I got home and 12:30 A.M. from a trip, but I went to the bathroom, and unpacked my toothbrush and my facial routine products. Keep washing your face each night, because you might end up with a new flock of acne.
Lessons & tips:
1. Never skip a day in cleansing!
2. Find quality products for your unique skin type.
3. Remove makeup every night.
4. Make sure you have a facial cleanser, scrub, toner, and moisturizer. Optionally, purchase a washcloth specifically for your face, and an acne spot treatment.
5. Every night, use your cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. 1-3 times a week, use the scrub. Every morning, use an extremely gentle cleanser, so your skin is clean but not over-irratated, which can cause more acne.
