Visit Southwest Virginia

I’ve lived in Arlington, Alexandria, Danville, Bachelor’s Hall and Richmond.

I’ve done college tours in Charlottesville and Williamsburg.

Many’s the vacation I took on the Blue Ridge Parkway or Virginia Beach or even the Eastern Shore.

But I’ve never been further southwest than Lover’s Leap, where I had a terribly traumatic experience involving losing my cat and being harassed by rednecks.

Even though this memory scars me, and I’m afraid of driving in the mountains, I want to see the Crooked Road, Carter Fold, Dante Coal Mining Museum, Estonoa Wetlands, UVa-Wise, and most of all, Breaks Interstate Park!
