watch 150 movies in 2008

I’ve ‘only’ seen 139 movies last year. The last two were:

138 Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle
Nice in-between-movie (or how do you say ‘tussendoortje’ in English?)

139 Fight Club
Wow, wonderful movie! I should watch this one again!

Well, at least I’ve seen some really good movies last year, and the nice part is, that now I have another year to start over again with the 150 movie goal!

187. Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones
It was nice to see this one again, but I’m still so bummed out that I haven’t seen the third part, it’s the only Star Wars movie I haven’t seen. And they happened to show it on tv a day before they showed this second part, argh. :x I hope I’ll see it eventually.

188. Treasure Planet
189. Mamma Mia!
Mum was so happy that I had bought her the dvd for Christmas and she wanted to watch it again asap! :D

190. Wallace and Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death!
:D Awesome! I love Wallace and Gromit. This was fun to watch together when my sister and nieces came by on Boxing Day.

191. V for Vendetta
It had been a while since I saw this, it was good to watch it again. Such a brilliant movie.

192. Poseidon
Oh dear. D: So terrying, I’d hate to die that way.

193. Dreamgirls
Watched this with mum. Pretty nice, but sometimes it just seemed really long. :p

Hmmm. You think I could still make it to 200 before the year changes? :D

Just like all bond-movies, I’ll have to watch this one more than once to understand most of it… But Daniel Graig again was nice to look at

The classic offcourse!

130 Knight Rider 2000
More like Knight Rider 1200 :( A red KITT, with almost no gadgets (not even turbo boost!). Tsss…

Wonderfull movie

Yummy (not only Johny Depp ;) )

133 Murder by Numbers
Not as good as it could have been.

134 Sea of Love
It had some thrilling moments, but just like 133 it could have been better.

135 Full Metal Jacket
Classic

136 Batman & Robin
BADman, despite George :(

137 The Others
I saw this one for the second time, and I’ve seen things I’ve missed before, because now I allready knew who the others were.

Wasn’t even as scary as I had thought it might be.

185. Brokeback Mountain
Well freakin’ finally! :’D I’ve been wanting to see this forever and now I finally succeeded. Such a touching, great movie, I truly liked it. And one can’t deny it: Heath and Jake, together… hawt.
186. Resident Evil: Extinction
I know, these movies are supposed to suck. But I sort of like them. :D They’re entertaining. And Milla is always awesome.

I’m a loser! I kept watching the same movies over and over, and unfortunately, they don’t qualify!!!!

It’s astonishing how my group of friends love bad movies! :’D Granted: they are fun.
This is what we watched when we were at Opisto:

180. Alligator
Bwahahahaa. 1980, hello! Everything was so believable, oh gosh. And how is it possible that everyone was that slow?! A huge alligator cannot catch that many people on land, it’s ridiculous.

181. Catacombs
We knew this would be bad when we saw that Pink was in it. :D I love Shannyn Sossamon, but in this movie her character was just such an idiot! Surprising ending, though.

When I got home today, I was so tired and my legs hurt so much
that I just wanted to lay down and watch something cute.
182. Arthur and the Minimoys
Awwwww! Adorable. :) Really liked this.

177. Green Street Hooligans
Oh, the violence. :o
I’ve stumbled into so many London movies lately, it’s odd. They always make me think that I could have experienced so much more there, gone to more places, but… in the end, my time there was pretty good anyways.
It’s always fun to recognise places from the screen nowadays. :) “Ha, I’ve been there!”

178. Blindness
Went to the movies yesterday with Anu-Liina and Satu to see this one. I had seen the trailer before and really wanted to see it because it looked so interesting
and I was not disappointed. I really liked this movie, even though at times it made me feel sick and desperate. But it was just so good! Shocking, but awesome. And it was fun to discuss about it afterwards with the girls.

179. Breaking and Entering
Oh look, London again. :D
Stupid cheater man. I liked parts of this movie but mostly it was just dull and sad.

176. Tonari no Totoro
I was feeling bad
so I watched Totoro. ♥

What movie was this again? Hm. Oh right, that one. :P Funny at times.

170. The Day After Tomorrow
Movies like this always cause me such enormous anxiety. But still I watch them. Even twice.

171. Derailed
Umm. Sad.

172. Ask The Dust
Pretty good. Salma Hayek’s awesome. But I just don’t understand love that starts with hatred and acting mean. I know, little boys pull girls’ hair when they like them. But why?! :D I don’t understand.

173. Casino Royale
Hahaa! First ever Bond movie I watched! I was amused.

174. Dot The i
Whoaaa! Talk about a twist! They were the cleverest ever! I really liked this movie, it was so good.

175. The Constant Gardener
I’ve been watching many Africa related movies lately, and they’re really making me sad. (I’m so glad I didn’t move there. No offense to Africans, I just would be so scared there.) Sometimes I’m really ashamed to be a human being. We’re so bad, we do such horrible things. Luckily not all of us. I just wonder how humanity could be saved – from itself. I guess it’s a lost cause… but someone needs to try.
This is one of those things that really gets me down sometimes. But don’t worry, I’ll be fine in a moment. Once I forget again.

That’s what I call an animated movie! Nice images and a very moving story.

114 Kung Fu Panda
Exeeded my expectations (but still, Wall-E is still the ultimate number one this year)

115 Ober
A Dutch movie about a waiter. We also get to see the writer of the film script, and at a certain point, the waiter walks into the writer’s room to ask for specific plot changes. Well done.

116 Goldfinger
Classic.

117 El Maquinista
I love Cristian Bale, but in this movie he’s just creepy :|

118 Big Fish
A feel good movie with content.

119 The Great Escape
Impressive movie about WWII prisoners trying to escape.

120 Dead Poets Society
As a ‘Dutch language and culture’ student, I can’t miss this one.

121 Office space
Funny!

Still don’t quite get the end…

So 122 down, 28 to go. This means that I have to watch a movie a day to reach the 150 target…
