Master the art of cake decorating

A relative is having a party for there dogs? They wanted a dog themed cake. I still need to get my order in for food colors. I am going to start practicing figures more too.

I liked the cake but it didnt turn out like I had planned. So more practice needed. I was going to have a stacked cake but the bow was so big it over powered it. So I made a this one and a small one like it for the bride. So back to the drawing board. :)

I started working on the bridal shower cake today. There have been some last minute changes about how they wanted it. Ive been doing the gumpaste decorations.
I really need to order some tools for some of the things I want to try. Luster dust,fondant cutters and other mis. stuff. I keep putting off ordering. :( Them I dont have it when I need it. Well back to work. :)

I just got asked to do a bridal shower cake. I get to let my imagination run wild. I’ve got some ideas. Will have to start forming a plan. I think this is where I usually run into trouble not having a plan.

I learned the basics of cake decorating a couple years ago. After seeing what people can do.I really, really want to perfect my skills and do amazing cakes!
