finish writing a song

right now i’m done the first draft, but it is still nowhere near complete….
i’m new- to this.. only written like 3 ish songs before, perhaps that’s why it’s taking so long…
but i’m so critical…im’ pretty sure it’ll decent once it’s done!
gonna work on it a bit every day until i do this.
also, i’ve found it really helps to work on it IN YOUR HEAD as opposed to just playing random shit and hoping something will sound good.

So due to events it has motivated me in auch a cruel way to get on with things.
Looking back at some lyrics I wrote a few months ago, now have a different meaning to me.
So I wrote some music for the lyrics I had written, now its time to try and see how I can put the two Together.

I play guitar and sing. I have this song I’ve been working on for a few weeks now. I know I can finish it. maybe put some piano to it. I just need to put lyrics to it. All the lyrics I’ve used thus far don’t fit the song. But we’ll see where it goes.

Well I play Guitar and Sing Lead vocals in a band.
But at the moment my songs either consist of either:
Instrumental no lyrics…or Lyrics no Instruments.
And a few Lyrics with incomplete Music.
So I need to go and complete them all.

I’m still working on the instrumental entitled, “Zombie Epidemic” for the bass guitar.

Today I was able to shake my favourite red pick out of my guitar. I foolishly dropped it in there last week. Today, I was armed with a small piece of transluscent plastic, that to me, meant the difference between playing one song and playing another.
Thus I continued writing the song I’ve been working on for a while now. I really should start writing it down though. Although I have a good handle on the chords and where i want them, it’s the words that escape me. After about 5 minutes of backwards progress, I resigned to playing other people’s songs. That didn’t work out so well either. Tomorrow, I will work on this tomorrow.
