I went today, after school.
It just felt like the right time to go.
I’m so glad I did.
I ran into my cousin there too.

a year, this friday, since she died.
I haven’t been to the grave since the funeral.
My mum thinks it’s because I’m selfish, because I ‘don’t have time’ and am ‘too lazy’, but that’s not the reason.
It’s because I’m afraid.
I’m afraid that when I go it will become real.
I don’t want it to be real.
If I don’t visit her grave, it’s like she’s still here.
But I know I have to go, at some point.
