draw the little prince a sheep.

Since reading the book in the original french in grade 9. I have thought of that book everyday. That book changed my life. I can’t really explain how. I draw him everyday. One day I will draw that box, and see what I want. It remains one of my all time favorite books, despite the overwhelming sadness I feel when I read it.

so when i was a kid one of my faveorite books was the little prince.

when i started this – i wanted something that would make sense to me, but no one else.

in the little prince – the narrators plane crashes in the desert – and he sees a little boy, the little boy starts talking about how hes from a planet, that isnt earth, and starts talking about all his adventures. but he talks about his planet – and asks the narrator to draw him a sheep. the first sheep is too big, the second looks mean, and then i think theres another one in there – and then he just draws a box with holes in it. the little prince thinks its perfect, and thanks the narrator.

i guess i just never want to loose that innocence, and my imagination. i want the box with holes in it to be sufficent. :)
