I want to sing

i love singing

I will never forget as a 8 year old when I had to audition for the school choir and I had a cold. My ba ba black sheep rendition fell far short of the required standard attributed to 7 year olds. That disappointment has never really left me and I have been trying to prove that I CAN sing ever since that day. I have since auditioned successfully for 3 school musicals, where I have had to sing solo on stage. Wild horses cannot keep me down in a karaoke booth, the feeling just takes over. They say singing really helps you feel good due to the endorphins that are released during the singing process.

I am contemplating what I might do to get the ball rolling on this. I guess I could get private lessons or join a singing group.

The title is just a beat I’ve been tapping with a pencil on the table. Just kidding, it’s random. Well, to the point. I am 14 years old (YES) and I used to sing in a choir. Once I did a solo when I was 7. I kinda messed up but it was cute ‘cause I was little. My voice back then was good, because I was small. It sounded cute. Now, my voice is grown up and I can barely reach high notes without sounding weird. I’m on-key, and I can reach them, but it just sounds weird. I just want to get up on stage and sing a song. Because I’m an actress, and I’ve always been in my school’s productions, I want to be in this one too. I’ve always been one of their faithful actresses, and I want a bigger part now. One problem – it’s a musical this time. So I’ve been searching for tips, advice, and confidence. Help. :D

hi im samnatha and let me tell you something i love to sing i have been singing ever since i can remember i have competed in competions and won and also sang for a scholarship its so great i feel like when im on the stage i can acually fly it makes me feel so good when i here people screaming my name.

Hey well i’m 13 and i want to sing not to be famous or make money but to make people happy cheer people up who are down with my songs and keep me and my friends off the street i written many songs and sing lots i know i have what it takes but i have had a bad experance with a person that destroyed my confiedence can any one HELP Me Thanks Jas. but take into account i live in uk my parents couldnt care less about me singing or my dreams.

i really want to get out there. i love to sing but i get self-concious about my voice. i want help to get started because well i don’t know how to get started…
