I am hoping to be putting $25 a paycheck into an envelope so I can avoid bank fees in my savings account. At Chase they charge $4 a month if you have less than $300 in your savings. XP

I actually want to save between $2,000 – $3,000 but I have to start somewhere. I used to have about $500 on a consistent basis, then I became the “victim” (I could’ve stopped it…) of a master moocher and have managed to drain my account down to $100. The good news is (1) I will never be a pushover when it comes to others trying to spend my money, ever again, and (2) I now have the job I need to be able to make enough to actually start building my savings back up. So why start with $300? It takes more to obtain then $200 and it’s not as daunting as $500… seems like a good place to start.

I actually have $300 right now that I plan on putting in my bank. It’s just the matter of actually getting all that money to my bank account. =)

$100 recently fell into my hands, well $80 technically. I need to put at least $50 into my savings, bringing it up to $150 and save the other $50 for lunch while I’m in school.

So I’m definitely working on this lately, I don’t have a job now but I’m making money little by little and my dad finally got a job so he’s given me some money that I’m going to put in the bank right away.
