Ride a Vespa

I love to ride it! I take it out for lunchtime rambles on back roads fairly often, especially in spring and fall. But not when it is so hot (104 degrees expected today in the east bay of San Francisco). I wear ATGATT (all the gear, all the time) to keep me safe. Wearing a big jacket and helmet in this weather would be really unpleasant.

I think I will drive to the beach with my dog and let her swim in the bay to cool off.

I won a Vespa Dec’06 and sold it Jun’07 for $500 more than the taxes I paid on it. Guess I should’ve sold it earlier and could’ve gotten more for it.

It was cool riding it, though.

Well I actually didnt get to go to the Vespa shop in Edmanton, actually I moved back home…. but I guess they have a scooter shop here too….. I just have to get re set up down here before I can even think about getting my dream toy…. I’ll keep you posted!

I have, in fact, been the driver of a Vespa on occasion. I have recently put more than a few miles on scooters, not Vespa. This is done. I should one day own a Vespa or some type of Piaggio if that is fates choice, but for now moving on. This goal is done!

4-stroke: should I change this goal to “buy a scooter” or keep the “Ride a Vespa” aspiration? I will buy a scooter, but it won’t be a Vespa probably for a few more years as a newer, cleaner daily driver can be had for half as much. I would love to own a classic Vespa, and hopefully one day will. Until then, I am planning to buy a useful toy that I can tinker with and make my own.

I will be going to this shop in Edmonton, Alberta called Top Gear Scooters to scope out what kind of vespa I want, look at diffrent models,and just actually sit on one LOL! I think my boyfriend is finally coming around to the whole idea of me on the open road, just me and my trusty Vespa…... ahhh I started day dreaming for a second there. Anyways…..I’m on my way, I’ll keep you posted!

i had a vespa, but i sold her. anyway i fully enjoyed riding my vespa!

I bug my friends who ride vespa’s about letting me cruise with them on an electric scooter I am hot-rodding. Heheheh, I can’t wait to be finished :D

There is absolutely nothing as liberating as starting up a Vespa and riding off to where ever you want to go on a sunny afternoon!

I have finally got around to buying a little Vespa et4 for myself and I simply couldn’t be happier! They are stylish, practical and, most of all, very VERY fun!

My only problem is that I don’t like leaving her out over night… I would keep her inside but for my girl friend (who is clearly just jealous).

set your self free and get one! you will most certainly never regret it! just ride safely and keep an eye out for those other crazy drivers!
