high school can be very depressing sometimes but then again people who are there for thier friends and help them make right choices are always a source of hope for others this is one reason i love to be there for my friends because ive helped them plenty of times in the past and they have done the same for me and from 4 years in high school….you hear many problems from people in the end a person must not give in to their own darkened side thats why i like to always be that one light of hope for others and enjoy making people smile again
How to be there for people
How I did it: Try to really listen to people. dont judge them. just listen to them on an emotional level. don't try to analyze what they are saying. It's scary of you are not used to it, but its actually safer and more accurate.
Lessons & tips: just really listen to what the person is really feeling inside or trying to express.
Resources: my heart.

like, when it really counts. take people into my home, be a rock.
One of my friends (L) fell out with another of my friends (B), in a major way. At one point it looked like they were never gonna make up. All the rest of our friends were siding with L., but I stood by B., and made sure she knew I was always around to talk to. I talked to L. a lot, listening to how she felt, and explaining how B. felt. Eventually something must have worked, because 4 weeks later L. emailed B. of her own accord and apologised, and now everything’s great.
I was there for B., and L., because I knew that was what I should do. I’d forgotten I’d put it on 43 things.
So therefore, I think I can say I achieved my goal.
