We should have taken a bit more time, but I do have lovely memories of it. We were at the 12 Apostles for sunset, and that is still the best sunset I have ever seen – one of those ones where the entire sky is flecked with red clouds so that everything glows. It was a good trip.

A few times when i felt like getting up and leaving i hopped in my MX-5 and went for a very long drive down the great ocean road. It felt great.
Have done it many times and I know I’ll do it many more before my days are over.
We did it with Wildwood Instruments as part of a 7 week road trip across Australia to visit music festivals.
It’s best if you do it with someone else so you can share the driving, and thus share the views!
