This summer I worked in Massachusetts for 3 months on Cape Cod. I also visited Chicago in Illinois , and New York again in New York State :D 5 months ago

This past week I traveled by car with my parents to Boston, Mass. for my mother’s graduation from Boston University. We stopped halfway there in 14.) Elmira, New York. The next day we drove another 6ish hours to 15.) Boston, Massachusetts for the ceremony. After Graduation, we drove up to 16.) Keene, New Hampshire to spend a few days with my mother’s friend, Eva. We decided to drive home through Canada (stopping for a day at Niagara Falls), but pulled over for a sip of coffee (and goat’s milk) in 17.) Bennington, Vermont on the way.

I also forgot to list 18.)Nebraska in my previous entry, but I definitely spent a night in Omaha on my way to Colorado for a friend’s wedding.

As I continue to travel and work towards my goal, I love the feeling that I get which comes with knowing more about different places and different people, even within the USA. I can’t wait for my next trip! (Although I must admit this past one was quite a lengthy road-trip; I don’t know if I’m ready for such a long drive right away again!) 3 years ago

Well, there’s a long backstory to my latest exploratory trip to a new part of the country, but the Readers’ Digest version is this:

A few weeks ago I was invited to interview for a MSW position with a Dialysis company in Greensboro, North Carolina. Because of the awesome opportunity this position would entail, and because NC winters sound wonderful in comparison to MI winters, I decided it was worth a trip.

My dad and I did a roadtrip to Greensboro, and I got the chance to see three states I had yet to visit:

19. West Virginia
20. Virginia
