J is amazed.
How I did it: Went on a plane, got there. And then the Philippines was effectively visited... I dunno, it was interesting. It wasn't too hard to get a ticket, and it wasn't too hard to find accommodation, since I have relatives there. But if you don't have those, there's always swimming there, and living on the streets. Kidding. Sorry, that was probably of no use to you. Read how I did it…

Going back to my roots. Maybe even visit a eskrido school and do some kali and eat some balut. Last time I was there I was in 3rd grade. And yes I’m Filipino.

And I was in grade 6 back then. I need to go again, cos I feel I’m losing touch with the filo culture. I don’t even speak tagalog. So yeah… I don’t wanna lose my filo ties.
I was there twice , is the best place in the word i think. English in spoken everywhere , everything is cheap , and people will give you a warm Welcome, specially in the province. I went to Boracay , and is a paradise, Palawan , Cebu , Bohol are places also that are breathtaking. I am going for 6 weeks to escape the winter and have a rest in paradise islands.

It has been a few months since I visited Manila for Christmas. I’ve been staying in Singapore for 8 years now but I still always missed being at home with my barkadas…Now all I can do is read Philippine News to stay updated with whats happening back home:-)
