I give up. 5 line sentences about things I already think about. I’m sure it was revolutionary for its time – in fact, I’m certain of it. But since I believe very much like he does, none of the book up to the halfway point seemed like anything new. It all felt like “ok, duh. Well, yeah, I’d do that. Hahaha, that’s definitely an issue for him, yeah.” No matter how short it was, I couldn’t bear the style and didn’t learn anything from it. I’m sure many of you guys’ll get more out of it, though. Good luck with this one.

One of my all-time favorites. Very practical in application and very useful because it’s commonly referenced. PLUS it’s short! YAAAAAAAAAAAY!

intersting, it most certainly is. umm…if you have any knowledge of history and of the time and location under which machiavelli lived, you can see why he would think these things, but reading them out of context, you are like what the hell is wrong with this man. but no, i understnad what he is saying. and its interesting to see the viewpoints of people with differnt ideas. it is worth the read

The whole “get power without worrying about morality” thing just intrigues me, I guess. =P Really though, it’s just one of those books everybody should read, explains a lot about what’s going on behind all the politicians’ beady little eyes.
