I always wanted to live in France from when I was smaller! I finally visited it and I fell in love with Paris. I am taking french lessons and someday I will live there :)
How to live in Paris

How I did it: Studied French in school and continued and continued. Studied a year in France. Got diplomatic, then administrative and then I got to go to France to study at the French school of Administration (ENA)... they sent me for a traineeship in Paris for 4 months :)

I have been in love with the idea for as long as I can remember. I recently had the opportunity to spend an entire week there (thanks mom) and my fantasies about this fabulous city were validated and exceeded. Now I can think of little else. I have to live there, if only for a little while. I have two kids who are soon to go off to college and a husband, so making this dream a reality will be difficult, but not impossible. I know some French, but have added it to my classes this semester (I’m a life-long student). Wish me luck!

unravel my life right now and leave south africa to sink myself into a completely new way of life for 2 years? There’s a film school in Paris that I really want to go study at.. but phew.. way beyond my budget and scholarships are thin..
Any good advice anyone??

I live in Paris!
I have been here since september and now it is nearly april.
I am going to be here for at least another 2 years studying french.

I went to Paris about 4 years ago, and was amazed by everything it stood for. I loved the art, the museums, the culture…everything. I honestly, fell in love with it. I would like to go back to study, and eventually live there. There’s so much history, so much to see, and learn. I wish I could go there right now…but someday I will! :D

I have recently made my first trip to Paris and I have fallen in love with the city. I want to go back as soon as possible and maybe live there for a few years! Since I am a first year in college I’m thinking about perhaps studying abroad there :) I hope I can accomplish this in the next 5 years.

I really want to live and work in Paris 6 months of the year. I’d certainly be able to learn another language while immersed there while learning another culture. While I really love London, Paris feels like a great old pair of jeans to me.
