Difference between Dream and Goal 1 month ago

I will be going through my 43 things “picking and weeding” ... There is a difference between a Dream & a Goal. A Goal is a Dream with a deadline, therefore I’m going to represent more realistic ones.

THANKS,
C Biz

Am I just crazy? 15 months ago

Are my goals just crazy? Are my goals unrealistic? I haven’t been able to check off one thing yet! Maybe I’m just reaching for the wrong stuff. I don’t know how close if at all I am to any of them and that really sucks. Am I just lazy? How will I know when I’m over my ex? If I work on this constantly doesn’t that mean that I ‘m constantly thinking about her? I don’t know, I just feel like I’ll never accomplish anything anymore and that’s a difficult state to be in. Damn theses goals!

This goal has definitely made me think 16 months ago

about what I want to put on my list. Although I’m marking this as done, I’m going to keep on reviewing my goals so that I do manage to achieve and complete them!

remember that you have made your decision to do something different with your life.
over come any obstacles that is in your life today. discover what you want and be specific.
understand your goals. keep your goal front and center.

I get caught up in the adrenaline rush from making goal lists (ones I’m too embarassed to share here). When I stop and do the math it turns out I wouldn’t be able to accomplish them in the time I set out even if I didn’t sleep for the next 30 days. Lesson learned: don’t bite off more than I can chew. This won’t stop me from consciously trying to fill my time with the things I really want to do and that are most important to me.

It’s easy for me to set goals, because part of me knows I will never accomplish any of them. So maybe all I need then is to get rid of this mindset, and the goals I’m setting will become more attainable.
