travel for joy and art

I marked this goal as fulfilled, but it is not really an end. However, this coming term is so busy with social events that I will not have any spare energy to have joy from travelling. I think I will be quite happy at home until next spring (with one Madrid exception in November :-)

We treaveleld through Wroclaw, Poznan, Hel, Malbork, Grudziadz and Warsaw and it was really fun. I were camping and travelling by car (only disadvantage was its absence of air-conditioning). It was our first summer vacation together and we survived it really Ok and strengthened :-)

This week it was Week of open wine cellars, so we went there on Saturday. It was great, the wines were delicious (and we went through the tasting of all the white wines!!), food only for meat-a-rians, but a nice lady brought me pancakes with butter, so I did not ended drunk because of combination of empty stomach, lot of kinds to taste and hot summer sun :-)
And I learned about Radosina Klevner, which is the only Slovak wine served at a table of Queen of England! She has really good taste!

About three weeks ago, it was a very pleasant afternoon with beer and gulash (and chilli sin carne for me) :-)

It was a great two day trip across the southern Bohemia, but this was the goal of the trip. There was everything within this trip: art, joy, fun, night out, sun, on the road feeling, flexibility, good planning and re-planning…

Beautiful Roman church near the place I live for so long, but I have never been there so far.
We brought lunch with us and made a picknic in the nice almost summer weather.

We spent 1st of May in Vienna, in Albertina. There were two exhibitions and it was fun to be guided by someone who knows also the background of the exhibited pieces.
And, thanks to Sequana and her narratives about Vienna when we were there the last time together, I could give in several historical pieces of narrative myself :-)

so we did Gymes once more (now with friends) on Saturday, but the weather was awful, we got soaked up by rainy shower (presumably traing for High Tatras trip in July). we were planning to have a picking up there among the ruins, I even prepared two kinds of vegetable salad dor our Italian weekend, but it was cold and we had to eat it quickly and did not even had time for a wine we brought too.
On Sunday it was really beautiful, but we did not have too much time for trips as the friends were returning home in the afternoon, so we went to two galleries, some enjoyed art, some were looking forward to lunch more (and it was really worth it!!)
and we planned our artistic trips for the next month, so hopefuly there will be a feed in very short time! :-)

on Monday when we went to the theatre. it was nice being there as a tourist once again. and I finally used my Coffe&Co discount card for a free coffee :-)
(now I dont have to go there anymore)

trip to Modra on Sunday – the weather was great for a hitchhike and we had a great time together. however, we missed the car on our way back, because travelling by buses suck.
