"A no-brainer"

How I did it: This was pretty easy.  My sister got a Sony Cybershot as a christmas gift from her husband several years ago. I've been looking at pictures from that camera as long.  It has plenty of excellent features including the ability to shoot video. My digital camera is outdated and not eco-friendly since it takes 4AA batteries.
I asked my sister for the model number of the camera. I put it on my amazon wish list and was lucky enough to get it as a christmas gift this year. My camera didn't come with a memory pro stick duo which you will need.  I only managed to get about 10 pics onto my camera without it.  So I brought an 8 GB pro duo Ebay.com for $20 with shipping. The camera was exactly what I expected since I had used my sister in the past.

  • Look to see what's included and what's not
  • Make sure it's compatible with your existing printer if you aren't buying a new one

How I did it: I gave some money to my mother, and we picked out a suitable camera from Kodak's website.  The one I'm getting has 8.1 Megapixels, and a 5x optical zoom.  You can also take videos with it, which is cool.  She's getting it for me, so perhaps this is not much of a 'how did you do it' story, but oh well!I'm really happy to be getting one, as recently I've become interested in flowers and trees etc, and it will be really handy … Read how I did it…

    Capture my youth 2 weeks ago

    When I get my next refund check or better paying job I will buy a digital camra so I can take more picture. I cherishing is moment. But I know my memory can hold only so much. My solution is to get nice camra that doesn’t require batteries and snap everything around me. Already have one but it battery operated and get low quickly. Plus I lost my plug to connect it to the internet.

    I make jewelry, bags and other things and in order to sell them I need a better camera.
    The one I have is a very old 2.0 Mega pixel lol. I need one with more mega pixels (of course) and that will be able to take great pics even with an unsteady hand. The camera will have to take great pics in light or dark and the menu options must be easy to use and get to.

    Any suggestions?

    Reasons:

    1. I really miss my old digital camera (that was lost/stolen)
    2. I feel like a lot of the memories I’m making in college will be forgotten, and I love being able to look back years later and be able to SEE what I was doing
    3. I need a camera to take pictures of references to improve my art!!!

    Process:

    1. Get a job for next semester!
    2. Research cameras and find one you’d be happy with
    3. Save up enough money to buy camera
    4. Get it!

    1. Being able to make memory scrapbooks for friends
    2. Being able to visually recall the memories I’m making
    3. Having a means of recording sights for artistic references

    Love the Casio Exilim!! CNET advised that most of the point and clicks are about the same, so then I was able to just calm down, go to Radio Shack and get it.

    I’m classifying this as “done” since i’m very happy with the Lumix FZ18 (Panansonic) so far and definitely keeping it! The only thing that was a little disappointing is that the view finder is really a mini digital screen, that’s going to take some getting used to. I’ve been reading the manual and the camera’s so packed with stuff, i’m going to have my hands full for some time.
