I see “lob” went from 50,000 to 75,000 grains donated in 20 days, or 1,250 grains/day – 125 correctly answered multiple-choice questions daily.
I answered 300 multiple choice questions, (3,000 grains of rice), in about 45 minutes in the vocabulary section. I figure 25 hrs and I’ll reach the 100,000 mark. 25 hrs. and I’ll donate about 1% of what us FreeRice “Thing-ers” are shooting for.
I did search for “donate rice” & found 136 members with specified amounts. In total, we are looking to donate 9,504,000 grains. By my calculations & at my rate, (4,000 grains/hr.), we could achieve this by playing on FreeRice for 17.5 hrs each. And if we repeated this process 3 times, (70 hrs total each), we could donate 1 ton of rice! Make a difference, perhaps learn something and less frustration than Sudoku! Comments? 1 year ago
