teach myself Spanish

I’ve reached the end of my Spanish road for now. Too many things going on at work and at home has made it very difficult to really give this class the attention it needs. (Not to mention the instructor is only in her 2nd year and assigns 4 times the amount of my other two classes combined…) I had to withdraw today. I don’t ever want to do that again.

I’ve had to write quite a few paragraph-style thingies lately. Now I just need to concentrate on doing the flash cards – I just grabbed up another batch of around 40.

Just got finished taking my 1st test this semester. Yo estoy muy nervioso.

Spanish this semester is scaring the crap out of me. It is very involved this semester – moreso than last semester. I’m pretty damn scared.

Doing pretty good so far.

Well, I have done it. I “got over the hump”, I mean. For the longest time, and I mean YEARS, I have started teaching myself spanish, then stopped, then started. For some unknown reason, my resistance has dropped and the “wall” came down. It’s hard though, just book learning right now, no classes. Maybe some day this 45 year old, sometimes stubborn, but caring man could turn this into a business or somehow use it to help others. I don’t know, I have a lot left to learn but I started, and for me that’s the hardest part.

I don’t know where to go from this point. I’m stuck at Wanting to learn. I am unable to get my hands on any material to start on this. And we chipped on it to! Damn it!!!

I dont have the $300 to get a program like that… wtf man, why cant the library let me use theirs?!?

The library will not send it out on loan to our library, back to square one, do not pass go and collect $200.

Got to the library thanks to Shipypoo and its being sent out now. YaY!
