things are going well!

i’ve started keeping notes and flash cards, and my study partner (Evan, aka Evan-san) and i are going to start going around introducing each other to people in japanese. ;)

i probably look a little crazy muttering to myself in japanese but it’s working well so far. ;)

... this semester i will be studying japanese with another guy who is auto-didactic. :) we’ll see how it goes….. i figure knowing at least some fundamental phrases would be useful if i’m going to stay there for any amount of time!
