I’m sorry I haven’t been around much lately to check in with all my 43T friends.
Work and home have been absolutely crazy in the last few months. My wife’s had some health issues which look like they’re finally resolving, thank goodness. And work has consumed everything else – and will continue to do so throughout the spring and early summer.
If you see or read stories in the national news about Wisconsin politics, you can think of me and know that’s what’s keeping Taylor busy these days. 15 months ago

After my first vendor fell through, I despaired. But I was able to find a new one, who hopefully will save my bacon.
This new vendor may be able to help me in ways the old one hasn’t, which is maybe a blessing in disguise. 18 months ago

I made some promises to people at work about launching a website by a certain date, thinking someone I knew could do the work. Now I find out he can’t do it, and I’m stuck trying to find other help, or face doing things myself and working 80 hours a week to get it done.
I’ve painted myself into a corner. Hopefully I can find a way to get myself out. 18 months ago

Last night I watched a 45-minute documentary on HBO about Studs Terkel, the late author who wrote “Working,” “Hard Times” and other people’s histories of America. He was blacklisted in the 1950s by Sen. Joe McCarthy for signing petitions linked to communists.
This man fought the good fight.
I’ve long admired Studs’ work, but sadly I’ve never read it. Hopefully I will someday soon. 22 months ago
