make a video

My bestfriend’s sister got a Mac the other day and we just messed around and made a pointless video but it’s not really meant for anyone else to see.

i will be in a group art exhibition in garnerville, ny in spring of 2010. i’m making a video specifically for this show, related to themes of scientific theory and experimentation. ultimately my idea is to build an interactive video/sculpture installation, but to start, my goal is to make & learn from a preliminary video and move forward from there.

I used movie maker, pictures and music, and my digital camera.

My friend and I was bored so we decide to make a pointless video. We hope to make more. Kind of like a series thing.

i make videos all the time with my little point and shoot. it’s nothing amazing or anything.. but hey! it works. lol so yeah i do believe i’ll just cross this off the list b/c yeah i don’t think i’ll be taking it much further to feature films or anything. haha

So, I’ve been toying with the idea of Vlogging, but I’m not quite sure what my content and video style will be. I’ve been watching a lot of examples on YouTube, and it seems like a lot of the vloggers on there are high school and college kids. Hmmmm… Yeah, I’m pushing 30, and if I try to be a hip kid, I’m going to fail miserably (and publicly), because that’s not who I am. So, I’m really trying to find my OWN unique style. Tomorrow, I’m going to just turn on the camera and roll. Stay tuned!
