gave up one job (lecturing at a University), which disburdened my life a lot (especially Friday afternoons). 4 years ago
went for lunch with mother and family, did some work in the morning, might go running in the afternoon, go to a theatre in the evening, with friends of ours. 4 years ago
got up early, took my car to the garage, had a meeting, then worked at home, visited friends, worked again.
Took the bike to the meeting, walked to and fro the garage.

.. after a stressful week, I persuaded my wife to come to a local event – late-night shopping with music and snacks and drinks at the local stores. We just went to a bike-shop nearby, we’re friends with the owners.
we hadn’t planned to stay long, but as it happened later on larher crowd gathered, many friends and acquaintances turned up, it was good fun and enough (or a little bit more than that) wine.
Great event, very casual, so it was like feeling home in our little town. 4 years ago

(2×4 units), drove back home and went to the gym.

I fel like I have to think in longer terms – having two weeks of vacations ahead, which are packed nevertheless with all kinds of chores, like appointments at the dentist’s and so on.
Still, being free in organisiing myself a bit more (and not being organised by a set schedule), is very liberating. 5 years ago
somehow was a day for just doing almost nothing – I needed a physical rest from the week and I couldn’t treat myself to any kind of constructive work. 5 years ago
