Me and Kar are planning to do this this summer – let’s just hope my job allows me to leave! Maybe to visit Sister? Who knows?!?

Kar and I are going to go to Chi-town sometime…
In a span of two weeks i went to both south carolina and florida. It was random, it was fun. I had a blast.

I’ve always had this awesome image of my best friends and I going down the road with a map in our laps, blaring our favorite “driving tunes” and taking pictures of the random awesome landmarks in tiny towns along the way. After seeing the movie Elizabethtown, I realize that this would be an AWESOME thing to do. I don’t know when I’ll do it, but I definitely will!
My best friend and I were going through a rough patch in our friendship; to make a long story short, she liked a guy, he liked me, we hooked up. Yes I know it was terrible on my part, but that is beside the point. A month after the ordeal, we decided to go on a two week long roadtrip down the coast of California, stopping by all the beaches and little towns along the way. The end of our destination was Santa Barbara. Now of course we could have gone further down, but time did not persist. The trip was a great way to make our friendship stronger and learn more about each other. We went kayaking, had a ton of “firsts” together, and just enjoyed every aspect of being away from what we knew and were used to back home. This should be something that everyone gets to experience, whether you go on a trip alone, with a friend, or with a whole group of people; it’s something you won’t forget.
i am really wanting this lately. i can’t do this for a few months yet & also it’s just too damn hot but yes…a roadtrip is in order for new adventures and for catching up with old & new friends.
first this & then mebbe…the world.
