    Silver Surfer: Requiem

Beautifully written. I am not typically a Fantastic Four guy, but this was incredible.

    We3

Grant Morrison can do no wrong. This is a story of a project to convert pets into war machines, and is heartwarming and brilliant.

    The Sinestro Corps Vol 1

I love Green Lantern. His tales are massively epic, and most of the bearers are just regular people. I could envision myself as the characters. However, I rarely read any of it. I need to remedy this. I’ll definitely check out the second volume of Sinestro Corps and would recommend it to fellow GL fans.

    All Star Superman Vol. 1

I love Grant Morrison. All Star is such a great idea for him because he doesn’t have to follow an arc, he can just plop down a random book of genius every couple of months. Brilliant.

    Elfquest Vol 2

Very fun series. Will definitely be reading more.

    JLA: Rock of Ages

At times incomprehensible, but epic in scale, worth reading even if I needed frequent wiki stops.

    Planetary Batman

One shot graphic novel where the Planetary team crosses over with Batman. A lot of fun.

    Violent Cases

While at Comic Con I met Dave McKean unexpectedly and needed to purchase something to have him sign, and stumbled across a graphic novel he did with Neil Gaiman I had forgotten about. Well-drawn, and well-written. my only complaint would be that it was rather short.

    New X-men Vol 3

I love Grant Morrison so hard. I have a current embargo on buying comics because my wife and I are saving up, but I want more of this series so badly.

    Angel

After the Fall. This is the first graphic novel explaining what happened after the end of season 5 of Angel. At times it is great, at other times it is disjointed and confusing.
