start an animal rescue

I am hoping that there are others on the south side of Chicago who want to do animal rescue.

This troubles me because it is such a passion,, yet my research has shown me how easily it can get out of control and bogged down in bureaucracy. However it fits in with my plans to build a very green country home, off grid if possible, with enough land to ensure the peace that nature allows us. Soon to be single again I’m hoping to find that kindred spirit of mine out there somewhere, to do this together with.

So I figured that really the only way that I can afford to start a shelter and be able to live I’d have to win the lottery or have someone give me a ton of money to do so. Also I would like to have some one do this with me. I have found that there are two different ways to do a shelter. Non-profit and profit. Profit is harder but I figured that is probably the best way to not go into debt and have to close down or change the way we do things. I know that it may seem kinda selfish to want some profit but this is what I want to do with my life and in order to be able to do that I need to have some way to live. Anyone in Lincoln interested and have any ideas on how to get started!

My dream in life would be to win the lottery so that i could buy a ton of land and build an animal rescue for all the innocent dogs in the world who just want to be loved and make a wonderful companion. However, that is more than likely not going to happen, so I thought putting my idea out there in hopes that a dog lover like me who would be financially capable of funding something of this avenue would be worth a shot.

I am currently working on a business plan and would be willing to share to anyone interested. The animals would be placed in foster homes and the money would go to legal fees and getting the non profit started. In order to help entice people to consider fostering, I would like to make sure all animals are fully vaccinated, provide any necessary meds/heartworm and flea and tick preventative and groomed free of cost for the foster. I would like to provide a crate for each animal and if possible provide food and toys as well.

i would love to start a rescue for animals, particular horses and small animals that people jump into without thought and have no one to place them with when the animal is unwanted. if anyone has any information on how i can start please let me know and email me.

I would really like to start an animal rescue, I live in Watford City North Dakota all I know is there are alot of neglected dogs and cats and other animals around here.In this surrounding area you would have to take your pet 50 to 100 miles to a shelter and I believe this is why so many animal are abused and neglected. I want to help. If anyone has any info that you think would be helpful PLEASE let me know.

I am looking for a partner(s) to start an animal sanctuary. I would like to buy at least 5-10 acres of land and use it to provide adequate facilities, including on-site medical care and 24/7 supervision.

With the many logistics of forming a sanctuary, including what kinds of animals, as well as the legal aspects (attorneys, accounts, zoning, etc.), fund-raising, finances, etc., it certainly will require a team effort.

If there is anyone out there who is willing to make a LONG-TERM COMMITMENT to helping provide a safe and caring environment for animals to live in peace, PLEASE RESPOND.
