I’m going to go with a butterfly. Back of shoulder.
How to get a tattoo (snoopy maybe?)
How I did it: I found a picture of a monarch butterfly with a shadow I really liked. I printed it out and carried it in my wallet for a whole year. It had meaning to me b/c after my divorce I felt like a butterfly flying around the world freely for the first time. I truly felt transformed and free and never wanted to forget such a wonderful feeling. SO after a whole year of carrying this picture around and making sure I really wanted it, AND my best friend even sent me a whole bucket of temporary butterfly tattoos so I practiced locations - I put them on different parts of my body: wrist, shoulder, hip. I was so prepared by the time I grabbed several girlfriends for a weekend trip to Miami. I walked into the tattoo parlor I had already researched for cleanliness, artwork, and reviews, showed him my photo I had been carrying, lowered my skirt top to show him where my current temporary tattoo was and that I wanted it just a little larger and a little more to the left . . . overly prepared some would say, but it is forever and I absolutely love my tattoo!!!
Lessons & tips: Make sure it has meaning to you, have a friend or two or more go with you, and have fun!

Maybe a butterfly, but so many people get butterflies! What else represents a positive change, hmmm . . .
I used to debate whether I should get a tattoo of snoopy or a pattern that had to do with my (soon-to-be ex) husband – thank goodness I didn’t do the latter!
