#16 A Certain Slant of Light  — 3 days ago

This was a great short read by Laura Whitcomb. I came across the title awhile back, but had trouble finding the book at a store. I finally found it at a used bookstore a picked it up. It had a kind of religious aspect about it. It also dealt with a dead girl telling the story and it seems like I have read several stories like this in the past year.

    #15 Alas, Babylon  — 1 week ago

This has got to be considered a classic novel by Pat Frank. If it’s not considered one it should be. I loved the community that the characters shared. They all banded together to survive. I don’t think you could actually get that kind of commrodery going in these times.

    #14 Eye Contact  — 1 week ago

This book by Cammie McGovern was good. I loved the characters and how the story was told from different points of view. The mystery of it kept me guessing until the end.

    #13 The Policy  — 4 weeks ago

This was another one by Bentley Little. I liked it better than the Resort, but not as much as The Association.

    #12 Letters From A Nut  — 1 month ago

I needed to read something a little lighter so I picked up this book by Ted L. Nancy. It was a book of letters that he has wrote to different companies with very strange requests and comments and the responses that he has received from them. They were all really funny, but they became a bit redundant when read all together.

#11 The Lovely Bones  — 1 month ago

This book by Alice Sebold was absolutely amazing. I couldn’t put it down. I could not stop sobbing at the end.

#10 Cycle of the Werewolf  — 1 month ago

This was a short story by Stephen King that was put into book form. I read the whole thing in about an hour. It’s the first book that I’ve read in a long time that had pictures.

#9 The Darkest Evening of the Year  — 1 month ago

This was one of Dean Koontz’s latest books. I really enjoy his Odd Thomas books and thought I would give some others a try. This book was good, but not great. There was enough mystery to keep me interested and wanting more through most of the story, but it kind of fizzled out at the end.

#8 The Stepford Wives  — 2 months ago

I really liked this book. As always, it was better than the movie. I haven’t seen the older version, but I didn’t care for the newer one that I did see. I loved how the book ended. Not all happy like the movie. Turns out that Walter wasn’t any better than the rest of the Stepford men.

    #7 The House  — 2 months ago

“The House” by Bentley Little was not that scary, but it was very disturbing like most of his stuff. There was this demon in it that looked like a little girl that was always trying to get people to have sex with her. This one is great for all of the pedophiles out there.
