No good deed shall remain unpunished.

wembleyheads is all sorts of googly-eyed :D
and specific version of a goal I had vaguely worded “go to bed at a decent hour on work nights”, which happen to be Sun-Thurs… and 10:45 suits me just fine. :)
Thanks Ruth!

thanks to a Sparkpeople bootcamp I joined for the month of May. The requirement of 30 minutes of cardio exercise every weekday obligates me to get to bed at a decent time the night before. Otherwise it simply can’t happen.
The trick will be to make bootcamp a way of life—especially once it’s very hot, & later very cold, & the lakefront path is not nearly as inviting.

this is my top priority for fitness. My weird-but-normal hormonal changes are being addressed, I’m sleeping well nearly every night, I have a pretty good rhythm for getting my freelance work done. I just need to comply with my bedtime.
Last night I got to bed at 11:00, which was great. And now I’m going to (1) close down the computer, (2) spend about half an hour putting away clothes & ironing a pair of pants, (3) put out my jogging clothes, (4) take my vitamins etc., & (5) get to bed by 10:30 or 10:45.

during the past week. Not only our Colombia project but also several other things (including working on my financial goals) have been keeping me up late. Even over the weekend, when I could have caught up a bit on sleep, I was too stressed & my body couldn’t let go.
Now the worst stress is past (I think) & my intention is to focus carefully on bedtime for the next week or two.

since morning is my only good time for exercise on weekdays, & getting up on time to exercise requires getting to bed at a decent hour.
I’m going to post updates on my progress on this & other fitness/health goals every week or two.
