when you fall off a horse you should get straight back on.
Well I didn’t get straight back on as I was in an ambulance. It’s now been a few weeks and … I’ve not ridden again.
I need to rectify this one sharpish!

i had done horse back riding for 6 years..then there was a mysterious accident. This horse lost control while in canter for no apparent reason, and i got bucked off and landed ON a fence. I suffered from a slight concussion, 3 broken fingers, and the fear of doing what i loved(i know it sounds sappy)i havent been able to “properly” ride a horse since.
I think we are planning to return to the horse trekking place over the xmas holidays…so that should get this one off my list.really looking forward to it (NOT)
I have drived big machines and motorcycles but it is completely different, you feel yourself like ultimate speeding, back of the horse makes you feel it bigger than you stand next to it. You feel the body heat of the horse and hear your own heart. Definately should be tried…

I haven’t ridden for a couple of years but I was pretty good…I miss it but I’ve totally lost my nerve after 2 disasterous horses. It makes me feel so sad whenever I see someone riding a horse. I try not to think about it but it does make me quite sad.
I think its been 3 years since I was dragged along with my foot caught in the stirrup when the horse I was riding decided to jump unexpectedly. It’s not that I’m scared, I can just think of better things to do. Root canal, bikini wax, amputation..
