Well, we definitely won’t get in if we don’t enter so the plan is to reapply again next year.

Received the e-mail this morning. Bummer. We’re running a half marathon this summer though, so that’s something.

We’re in the lottery so hopefully both entries will be selected.
Very worth doing. Espically if you live in or around NYC. Don’t rely on the lottery to get you in if you want to do it. New Yorkers Go out and earn your spot. You will apperciate the experience if you earn it rather than getting in by a lottery. As for the race, I’m doing it for the second time this year and am looking foward to doing much better this year.
good luck to everyone doing the new york marathon this year. I did it in 2004 and it was the best experience of my life! My advice is don’t start out too fast, I did and ended up running 4 hours 30, when I was aiming for 3 hours 30! It hurts, but it wouldn’t be half as much fun if it was easy! and New York is AMAZING!
llong is growing slowly but surely
What an amazing experience!
I think everyone ought to do at least one…there’s no better way to explore the city!
