Since I am now officially “on” 43 Places as well I’ve decided to take this goal off my 43 Things list. Thanks for the cheers… It’ll happen!
If you happen to be in Pennsylvania, you have got to see it to believe it. The tour is free, you get a free Take 5 candybar, and if you stay for under two hours, the parking is free too.
It’s worth it just to go for comedic purposes!
I live about 20 minutes from Hershey, how lucky can a girl get? LOL I’ve been going to Hershey Park and driving thru Hershey for 47 years now. For those lucky enough to travel to Hershey, have a great time!!
If you go on the tour about The Story of Chocolate you’ll get to ride on this little train (like in Disney World) where you explore the World of Chocolate, from cocoa bean to chocolate bar. And they give you a little chocolate at the end. It’s fun, fun, fun. And in Hersey, PA, the streetlights are shaped like kisses :)
I visited medical school there. It was great, and the air smelled like chocolate all around town. But alas, I cannot live there. I’d be a house in the end!!!
I have wanted to visit Hershey since I first heard about it! I want to see how they make chocolate and of course I’d like to eat some while I’m there, too ;o)
