How to wear more sunscreen
How I did it: Working as a lifeguard, its no surprise that I needed optimal sun protection this summer. After trying a few different products starting with a base SPF of 30 I found the best so far is Neutrogena Face Sport (70) and No Ad (60). Reapply every half hour. The difference from last year is amazing. I have a nice tan without being crispy in the Miami sun.
Lessons & tips: Its a little expensive for the top notch stuff. As long as you don't lose it, its worth it. You should reapply every half hour with heavy perspiration or when constantly in water.
Resources: CVS. Neutrogena, No Ad, magazine reviews.

Wearing sunscreen will help decrease your risk of skin cancer.
It sounded nice—take the ferry out to an island and spend a lazy day at the beach. Unfortunately I forgot the sunscreen and suffered the worst sunburn in history, I am convinced. It’s mostly on my legs but it was excruciating pain for days, then it stopped and made me think I was healed and suddenly these gross blisters came out of nowhere, and ever since then my skin has been a peeling, blistery mess. Very attractive during July when you wear lots of shorts and skirts. I bought a small thing of sunscreen that goes on your keychain to avoid ever being caught unprepared again. I am the poster child for sunscreen.
